Why Early Access?

“I am of course but one man and while I'll be releasing this game into early access with much of it completely finished, feedback will be helpful in balancing and creating the remaining characters and final bosses or additional enemies. Designs and some basic animations for bosses and enemies have been completed.

I plan on creating 5 choosable characters, and while the art and music are mostly done, balancing the game based on other peoples interactions other than myself will be necessary. ”

“I imagine about 6 - 8 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to create 5 character classes to choose from, and to finish all the late game final enemies.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“One character is done, one enemy is done, one tower works, and everything interacts with each other. The art is finished for most of the bosses and enemies, but I still need to do all the angles. The music is done, and many of the sound effects are done. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“It's a tower defense, so it'll be pretty easy to add or change things based on community feedback! As I am the one to make the art, coding, and sound, there is zero overhead and thus I can easily and quickly add new enemies or extend the game based on quite literally whoever gets to me first.

About This Game

A hand-drawn ARPG Roguelike that's also a Tower Defense: level up your character and carry loot between runs, while experimenting with different skills and upgrades as you build towers and hack and slash your way through hordes of monsters marching towards your town.

Game Features

  • Classic isometric art, hand-drawn and traditionally animated.

  • Tight, responsible 2D controls. Light attacks, heavy attacks, aim and charge up projectiles. Dodge or Charge your way through waves of ghouls and monsters.

  • Level up your character, become stronger within each run as well as between runs, allowing you to start stronger each time. Try new skills and try different weapons each run!

  • Keep your favorite weapons each run, give old weapons to your mercenaries or towers to make them even stronger.

  • 10 elemental upgrades, some stronger and weaker against different enemies, but they all have upgradable and unique mechanics. You also don't need to choose, they all stack onto of each other.

  • Collect coins that explode from their bodies as you hit them.

  • A massive cast of enemies and bosses
