What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As a solo developer still learning and growing, Early Access gives me the chance to continue developing Bloodlit with real player input while staying focused on my original vision. My goal is to use this period to refine the core experience, improve what works, and address what doesn’t, so that when it fully launches, it feels complete. I’m committed to seeing the game through, and community feedback will play an important role in helping me to do just that.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will stay in Early Access until the completion of its story mode.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to feature more variety: new threats, environments, weapons, game modes, and more.
Additionally, a full story mode is also planned.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Please refer to the About This Game section for everything that has been implemented so far.
The game has a solid foundation of what I envisioned in terms of core design and playability. Right now, I’m focused on making sure it evolves in the right direction.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, a price increase is planned for the 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback plays a key role in shaping Bloodlit during Early Access. I’m especially interested in learning what players enjoy and where things can be improved, including balancing difficulties, weapons, and enemies to refine the experience as much as possible.
Feedback also helps surface technical issues or bugs I might have missed, so I can address them more quickly.
Just as importantly, it allows me to understand where player expectations align—or don’t—with my vision for the game, and make adjustments or compromises when needed.
Players are more than welcome to share their thoughts directly through the game’s official Discord server, which is linked both on the store page and in-game.”

Bloodlit is a hardcore first-person shooter designed to unite slow-paced oppressive survival horror tension with fast-paced reflex-driven close-quarters combat, with a strong emphasis on skill expression.

Survival in this game hinges on players' quick thinking and execution. You will be overwhelmed. Deny the disadvantage.

Combat in Bloodlit is up close and technical, with limited resources to work with. It takes more than just "shooting anything that moves" to even have a chance.

Attacks can be countered with precise timing and enemies have weaknesses that can be exploited. Following up your defenses with offenses can often mean the difference between life and death.

Being outnumbered and surrounded is well expected. Players must rely on sharp reflexes and quick judgment to turn the tide, especially when enemies get closer than comfortable.

Every enemy type in this game is carefully designed to fulfill a specific purpose and present a unique threat.

Players will be kept on their toes as they adapt to multiple types of enemy behaviors in the middle of the fray.

Whether it's to keep a mental note of a stalking figure in the distance while being outnumbered up close, or to counter every attack of the towering terror in front of you while dodging flanking threats, your ability to handle pressure from multiple angles will be the key to your survival.

Every weapon in Bloodlit is crafted with a clear purpose. Whether it’s raw close-range firepower, precise long-range control, or tools designed to break enemy defenses and set up for melee finishers, each one offers a unique tactical edge.

Choose the tools that suit your instincts, learn their strengths, and push them to their limits.

This nightmare doesn't have to be faced alone. Squad up with your friends and shed blood as a team.

Yet no matter how skilled you become, escape is an illusion. You are trapped in a cycle of endless violence and suffering — a nightmare you cannot wake from. Because here, in this place drenched in blood, you are not the victim.

You are the architect of your own suffering.
