About This Demo

A shadow drifts over Glintland, stealing pigs and disrupting its harmony across the land. After years apart, your sister Clara reaches out for help, setting you on a path to join her Nightstone Academy, forge magical items, and create production networks.

What you get in the Demo

In short play sessions, Glintland Demo offers a tile-placing game with a simplified reduced world you can relax and immerse yourself in. Any free minute can be used to leave reality behind to take on a new fantasy challenge. Fulfill the needs of the people and use your gained experience to unlock new exciting tiles and ways to play.

Deck of Tiles

Each game begins with a randomly shuffled tile deck. Then draw tiles into your hand. Look at your open jobs and find a good spot to start with your first tile in the world. After you have placed your first tile, each further tile has to be placed on a valid connecting spot. Once your hand is empty, draw again up to your hand limit and continue tiling until your job is fulfilled and you are happy with your settlement or challenge yourself in Trials and Favours and keep playing until you are out of tiles.

Trouble-Free Place and Play

There is no need for micromanaging your placed tiles in Glintland.

• With a Harvester in hand, place it on any Drakewood, Myrium or Redlon field, to harvest the precious Materials from that field.

• The workshop allows to further develop the gained Materials into a higher level. Whatever you feed into a Workshop will decide the output.

• Assemblers will combine any Materials into new enhanced items. Get ready to craft Tangerian Harps, Magic Staffs, Disruptor Fields and many other powerful tools.

• Even the Item Paths (Transportation Belts) are omnidirectional until a connected building defines the direction. In Glintland there is no need to fiddle around just to get the direction of paths (belts) right.

• Essence Veins connect to existing buildings and infuse items with magical energy.

• Complete Shadow Story Mode with all its twists and discoveries.

• Many more building tiles and challenges to explore and master.

• Quick Game Mode, where you can challenge yourself to place all your tiles meaningfully in just a few minutes.

• Tournament Mode, which lets you compete with friends under identical conditions to see who can build the most valuable settlement.

Glintland is developed by Kris F. Lynhart, a game dev veteran, who worked on Gears Tactics, Transformers, Cluedo, Chef's Arena, World of Tanks, and now wants to bring his passion for board games, factory games, and short relaxing gaming sessions back on the table. He dedicates this game to his two kids, Leon and Kiara, who love to play Glintland. Because Kris' well-thought-out input design allows even children as young as 3 years old to play it just with a mouse.

The game is still in development and targeted to be released in Q4 2025.
