Story

Nick, a young orphan accustomed to surviving on his own, is being transported to the local police station when an accident forces an unexpected stop at the isolated Amberhusk Motel.

What seems like a routine interruption quickly becomes a nightmare.

Inside the motel, something has altered human biology and transformed the environment into a grotesque version of itself. As Nick searches for answers, he meets Sophie, a young girl who appears to be alive against all logic and asks for help finding her brother.

Each new clue reveals fragments of a far more disturbing truth. A mysterious presence seems to be spreading throughout the motel, corrupting everything it touches.

And at the center of it all, one symbol keeps appearing:

a sunflower.
