About This Game

Crystal Gaiden Origins is a side-scrolling action platformer with a bold 8-bit aesthetic, pulsing chiptunes, and razor-sharp gameplay.

Play as a rogue warrior fighting through burning cities, buried ruins, high-tech research facilities, and an active orbital elevator primed to unleash a doomsday weapon — all in a collapsing sci-fi world.

Tear through rebel strongholds with advanced weaponry, and strike down your former brothers in the imperial army using forbidden powers buried in the past — all while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the one you love. Trigger a berserk system that boosts your strength at the cost of your own health — every strike a sacrifice to bring her back.

A tribute to the 80s–90s era of NES action platformers — from Ninja Gaiden and Shatterhand to Castlevania and Shadow of the Ninja.
