The museum was spotless. Until it wasn’t.

In Bug Off, you're the last line of defense between priceless artifacts and absolute chaos. Armed with nothing but your slippers, you'll clean up mud, squash bugs, scrub blood, and try to keep fragile relics intact while the mess keeps spreading.

Bug Off is a light, replayable mess-management sim with a satisfying loop and no pressure to be perfect. There’s no game over. Just you, the dirt, and the rapidly escalating consequences of ignoring it.

Features

  • Slipper-Based Cleaning & Combat: 
    Swipe, stomp, and scrub with simple, tactile controls. Every mess is your responsibility and every bug is in your way.

  • Dynamic Dirt System: 
    Mud, blood, and trash accumulate in real time. Clean it up before it spawns more pests or spreads out of control.

  • Unpredictable Bug Behavior: 
    Bugs spawn from filth and gravitate toward expensive items. Leave them too long and you’ll lose pieces of the exhibit.

  • Unlockable Rooms & Escalating Challenge: 
    Start in a clean hall, then unlock additional rooms with new layouts and spawn locations. More rooms means more chaos to manage.

  • Medal System with No Hard Fails: 
    You won’t get kicked out for losing an item. Replay any room, improve your score, or just enjoy the mess.

  • Stylized, Minimal Presentation: 
    A clean visual design keeps the focus on gameplay. No characters, no dialogue, just slippers, bugs, and mess.
