The UFO-like tones of Desiro duty resonate through the suburban streets of Glasgow, as the iconic and eye-catching Class 380 rolls into ScotRail service! Return to the round-and-round running of the Cathcart Circle in Train Sim World, now fully remastered to TSW standards!

Constructed in Germany and transported 100s of miles by rail to Scotland, the BR Class 380 is a modern and unique member of the Desiro UK family. Sporting a distinct body shape and streamlined front-end, they are designed exclusively for the ScotRail network; offering high acceleration rates with ample and accessible passenger space.

First entering service on 8 December 2010, the fleet of 38 Class 380s has been put to use across the length of ScotRail’s electrified lines, including newly wired-up services such as the Edinburgh to Glasgow line. It is perhaps seen most often on the sprawling network that originates from Glasgow Central’s 15 platforms, including on the many service patterns that operate around the Cathcart Circle.

In Train Sim World®, the Class 380 rockets into service on the dense suburban network of Glasgow; the Cathcart Circle Line. In a brand-new timetable, drive 3, 4 and 6-car formations on a variety of passenger services, working in conjunction with the Class 314 on the commuter lines to Neilston and Newton. Explore an all-new Cathcart, as the route has been remastered to feature volumetric skies, updated visuals and more!
