“The Early Access version of Tavern Tycoon: Brew & Brawl introduces the foundation of running and defending your tavern, including core management systems, combat encounters, and staff/customer interactions. Over the course of development, we aim to expand on this foundation with additional tavern upgrades, new customer types, more enemy variety, expanded building options, and narrative events that bring more life to the world.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently playable with:

Core tavern management (serving, placing furniture, hiring staff)

Customer flow and basic NPC behaviors

Goblin raids with real-time combat

Building system to arrange tavern interiors

Inventory UI and single-player progression
Some assets are placeholders, and multiplayer is not yet available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we add new content and features, so early supporters will be able to join at a lower cost compared to the final release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll use our Steam hub and Discord to collect feedback on balance, AI, and new features. Player suggestions will help decide which upgrades, enemies, and systems are prioritized. We also plan to run playtest branches so the community can try updates early.”
