About This Game

Join Mistlands: Wheats & Demons. Become a mayor of a small settlement in the distant and dark lands of the principality, and test your management skills.

Build buildings and develop the settlement

Place fields and farms for harvesting, build processing chains to increase the value of resources - make flour from wheat, bread from flour. Improve buildings to increase productivity, and do not forget to repair them in time: one collapsed workshop and the entire settlement can be left without food or clothing. Thoughtful management is the key to survival on the border with the Mist.

Watch the residents and make fateful decisions

Each resident in Mistlands is not just a working unit, but an individual with their own character traits, habits, fears and even superstitions. One may be hardworking but hot-tempered, another - a slow but tireless worker, a third - prone to melancholy and often sees bad signs.

In the same situation, they will behave differently: one will diligently continue to work, another will run away from the field, a third will start a fire, suspecting a neighbor of being a witch.

You will have to solve domestic conflicts, problems at work, outbreaks of diseases and mysterious incidents. How to react: fire, punish, listen or turn a blind eye? Your choice will affect not only the mood, but also the lives of residents: someone will start working better, and someone may get injured... and perhaps even die. Each decision is a step between order and chaos. Manage people not only as a resource, but as living souls, and perhaps the settlement will survive the onslaught of evil spirits.

Trade goods and develop the settlement economy

The economy of your settlement is not only fields of wheat. Produce leather from hides, make tools for artisans and wine from juicy grapes - each product carries the labor of your residents and its weight in gold.

Sell surplus goods to earn much-needed gold: it is needed not only to expand the settlement, but also to pay tribute to the prince - he does not like delays. Cannot pay on time? Prepare for the consequences.

You will have to accept trade orders and contracts from neighboring lands. They are profitable, but carry risks: limited time for execution, capricious customers and possible losses along the way. One broken contract - and your reputation will suffer, and with it the flow of gold.

Well-established trade is the heart of survival. Take risks, trade, negotiate... or watch as warehouses fill up with spoiling goods.

Balance between game factions

Your town is not an isolated corner, but part of a complex system, where each faction has its own interests, ambitions and methods. Skilful maneuvering between them is the key to survival. The prince demands tribute - if you are late, you will end up on the scaffold. Residents want food and order - otherwise they will start to rebel. The Church is watching you and will not tolerate connections with darkness. And evil spirits sneak into the settlement every night under the cover of Mist to destroy everything you have built.

In Mistlands: Wheats & Demons, there are no clear allies or enemies. Each faction is a source of both strength and danger.
