What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows players to access and play a game before its full release, often in an incomplete or unfinished state. It's a way for developers to get feedback from players and iterate on their game while it's still in development. Players can participate in community-driven development and support the game's production. As a solo indie developer its key for me to get feedback as I cannot fallback on a full team to assist with testing and balancing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am a solo developer so I am not sure there is a great answer to this but I would like to have all the POI's and current feature optimizations done within the next year, furthering that it will depend on bug reports and feature requests”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to implement character creation/customization, more options for world generation, more weapons, enemies and POI's. In Addition we plan to improve overall performance and optimize and improve character animations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Here is a list of things you can do currently in this early access version with more to come
- Explore your ship and repair your systems
- Fly around and explore the asteroid field in your mining pod (located on the bridge)
- Fight enemies deep in the asteroid field
- Explore a POI in the starting area (finding it is part of the game)
- Upgrade your mining pod to go further and faster
- Mine the asteroid field to gather resources
- Craft new items, weapons and food with those resources at various stations
- Create new work stations as you level for more advanced crafting
- 10% chance of a raid while you are on the main ship”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There are no plans to change the price once it leaves early access”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Any feedback, feature requests or just general tweaks can always be discussed and either added to my forum or the better option on my discord, the links can be accessed from my website support page.”

About This Game

Can you survive on the Forsaken?

Welcome to the Forsaken, you are a clone on a broken ship. You must repair the ship and escape the nearby asteroid field.

But things are not that easy, an alien robotic race wants the ship, and they will do anything to stop you escaping.

Mine Asteroids

Mine the nearby asteroids for resources. Upgrade your mining ship to travel faster, increase how far you can go and get more valuable resources.

But be vigilant, the robotic aliens lurk in the shadows.

Crafting

Craft new weapons and craft items to repair the ship, there are many workstations to unlock so you better get leveling.

Food

Grow your own food, cook meals, some may even give you a bonus, some might not.

Robots are mean.

Robots like to work to a schedule, keep an eye on the clock, attacks wont stop and they wont get easier either.

Repair

There are multiple systems around the ship that need repairing, some workstations require power, try and keep the lights on and see what happens.

Upcoming Features

  • Biomes

  • Shuttle Pod

  • POI's and Bosses

  • Anti-Gravity

  • More Guns

  • Raids

  • Key bindings

  • Stats and ailments

CO-OP

While this is currently single player, the game will support up to 4 Coop soon, just some more testing to be done. Be aware, the game will scale the more people you have, the Robots don't like company.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game mechanics for this game require the use of weapons, these are directed against robots and not other players. Once Co-op is released, the dead bodies of your fellow players will be lying around until they de-spawn.

Blood also may be implemented by launch.
