About This Game

Void Stalkers is a cosmic horror game set in a dystopian future where you are a Void Runner - the pilot of a cargo space ship, under the employ of the WASP corporation. Your job? Transport dangerous creatures known as Void Stalkers to WASP's various research stations. Sounds easy - except your ship is falling apart, traveling The Void is never safe, and the Void Stalkers aren't dormant. Use your ship's security cameras, drone, and other systems to find and deal with anomalies, fires, reactor malfunctions, and other strange things in The Void.

Use your ship's security cameras to monitor your ship and your cargo to ensure everything is as it should be.

The Void Stalkers you are transporting begin in stasis, but can awaken during travel through The Void, causing reality-warping anomalies. Spot these anomalies and zap the creatures back into stasis before they fully wake. Fail, and you'll need to act quickly to lure them to an airlock and blast them into space before they get to you.

Your ship configuration changes with every jump. Create paths for your drone to connect to different terminals or deal with threats directly!

A lot can go wrong in The Void. Fires, biomass, trajectory misalignment, infestations, reactor problems, and more!

Meet other Void Runners, deal with WASP's management and scientists, and communicate with other factions such as the Lunar Resistance. Each of them will want something from you and most of them have their own agenda. It's up to you how you play - keep your head down and follow orders, side with the resistance, or just look out for yourself. The choices you make impact what you learn and how you survive.

It is the year 2972. After centuries of automation, AI, downsizing, and corporate mergers, 99% of Earth’s population is jobless.

The unemployed live idle, pointless lives, subsisting on government provided food and living quarters. You were meant for more than that. But jobs aren’t earned. They’re won in a lottery, sponsored by the mega-corps. And against all odds, you’ve been selected.

Congratulations! You’re a Void Runner now.

Your prize? Minimal training, a barely functioning cargo starship, and 1,000,000,000 credits in debt. What? You didn’t think they’d give you a free ship, did you?

And then there’s the cargo. Dangerous Void Stalkers that your new employer, Whitestone Agriculture Transport and Pharmaceuticals (WASP), say they want to study to create new medicines and technology to benefit all of mankind. The Lunar Resistance says otherwise, but they have their own agenda too. The other Void Runners seem to be on the level, but can you fully trust them?

The Void is cold and uncaring. The corporations and factions are even worse. Every void jump pushes you deeper into a system designed to exploit you - or worse.

But this is what you’ve always wanted. You’ve got your ship, your freedom (sort of), and a purpose.

Make the most of it!
