Miksi Early Access?

As a solo, indie game developer, and with DECK COLLECTOR being my first game ever made and released, I want to ensure it reaches its full potential with the help of the community. Early Access allows me to gather valuable feedback from players, refine gameplay mechanics, and add meaningful content based on real user experiences. I believe that involving player feedback in the development process leads to a stronger, more polished game, and I truly admire the insight from those who take the time to play and share their thoughts and experiences. Your input will directly shape the future of DECK COLLECTOR, making it the best experience possible.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

DECK COLLECTOR will be in "Early Access" for approximately one (1) year.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version of DECK COLLECTOR is planned to expand on the foundation laid in Early Access. My planned focus is wrapped around adding more cards, refining the gameplay, enhancing the visuals, and incorporating player feedback through the Steam community and Discord. I'm also exploring new game modes and quality-of-life improvements, shaped by what players find most engaging.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Currently, the game is "free-play" mode, where you can open unlimited amount of packs at your leisure. Place cards in 2D binders (3D binders are WIP), animate cards in the Card Viewer, adjust the camera settings, and view your progress for each set.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price of DECK COLLECTOR may increase by a small amount when new features are added. Primarily when the game is near the end of Early Release mode. I prioritize customer satisfaction and long-term enjoyment, so my goal is to make sure every update brings meaningful improvements without drastic price jumps.

I fully and genuinely admire customer feedback - both positive, neutral, and negative - and will ensure that every update reflects what players truly want. Regular updates, open discussions, and transparent development will allow players to have a direct impact on shaping the game. Whether you’re looking to build your collection, chase those rare finds, or to just relax and enjoy the excitement of opening packs of cards, DECK COLLECTOR will fully immerse you in the collectible card world!

Build Your Collection

Rip open packs, preconstructed decks, and booster boxes to build your master collection of cards. Add cards into 3D binders to view the progress of each set.

Ultra Realism

DECK COLLECTOR was made with realism and performance in mind. The game uses PBR graphics to simulate the look and feel of the real world. The foil shaders were designed to mimic the glimmer of the iconic holographic cards. Rotate the card and watch it come to life!

Build Your Room

Move around the room and place objects. Use the edit tool to precisely edit the position and rotation of all objects. Add posters, convas art, emissive lights, TV’s, monitors, furniture and more to fully immerse yourself in the game and make it your own! Place cards in 3D binders with a FIRST OF ITS KIND page-offset to mimic the real world binders.

A multitude of settings have been implemented into the game to allow for user controllability. Choose your color, adjust the pacing, and fine-tune the camera settings to your liking. All settings are in plain text inside a text file for easy editing!

Constant Updates

The game will constantly evolve into a bigger, better game. With constant updates, new features, and surprises that will be implemented within the game to enhance the gameplay and overall playability. Difficulty modes, grading, selling cards, an ABUNDANCE of new cards and sets, more settings, player customizations, advanced play modes, VR support, Steam achievements, and SO MUCH MORE are currently on the “to-do” list while the game journeys through its Early Release Mode.

Some of the artwork in the Urbana set are AI pre-generate art. This is to be used as placeholders only for the time being. As a new solo indie developer, time and resources are very limited. So as funds become available, I will readily replace them with original commissioned work.
