« bagelball is playable with the main mechanics, and id like to make it accessible for anyone to play it and see it's potential. however, there are still quite a lot of significant changes i would like to make, such as rebalancing the bagel throw, making quantum bagels into a separate gamemode, music, more sfx and vfx for when you hit things at high velocities, etc. this led me to the decision that early access would be the best.

« the game will stay early access for just below 1 year, maybe even a few months if i find the time to work on the features outlined. »

« to escape early access i would need to as a MINIMUM:

• add character models
  
• add a music system
  
• add custom lobby options
  
• give bagel steal a cooldown/remove it/change it to be less obnoxious
  
• make quantum bagels a gamemode/add a cooldown to them/balance them
  
• fix/remove the church map lol
  
• scoreboard/easy way to tell which team you're on
  
• add a warmup before the game starts

perhaps monetisation? cosmetics or map pack dlc? we'll see.

« core gameplay mechanics are all there, including the movement, bagel flying, bagel throwing, quantum bagels etc. there's a lobby browser, a settings menu, 4 maps and 2 gamemodes of 1v1 and 2v2 »

« no. at some point there may be in-game purchases to unlock more maps, or maybe cosmetics, but that's a long way off. »
