Yet the true horror lingers unseen: shattered fragments of human DNA drift through the air, invading organic life like a plague—twisting animals, plants, and even the earth itself. Giant trees pulse with human-like hearts; the seas writhe with flesh-fused tentacles—the planet is descending into a biological nightmare beyond control, and human civilization is undergoing a grotesque “rebirth.”

It seems the apocalypse wasn’t caused by nuclear war alone. Some speculate that genetic weapons were deployed to target officials hidden in bunkers.

But these ruins have long been occupied by "Aberrations" (fully humanized terrifying creatures) that greedily seek to claim any life that remains unassimilated...
