Ice River is a point-and-click story-driven adventure game set in late 1990s in northeastern China. Players will immerge into Jiangping, which inspired by Shenyang and Changchun, gradually uncover the truth behind the disappearance of Dun’s mother.

Lelin, small southern town, the end of the century. After father’s funeral, young boy Dun set off on a journey to the northeast. He is convinced that his mother, who has been disappeared for many years, is in Jiangping, the largest city in northeast and also the hometown that Dun's family could never return to.

Mysterious Family History and the Past Century of Northeastern China

In Ice River, the history of family and country intertwine. As players uncover the truth, they will investigate a long-buried case involving Dun’s family member, piece past experiences of two generations, and gain a deeper understanding of the historical changes in Jiangping and northeastern region.

Rich Narrative Experience with Multiple Branches

There are many characters in Jiangping, each with their own unique backstories, and numerous interactive elements, they provide a rich narrative experience with multiple branches together. While searching for clues about Dun’s mother, you can slow down and listen to other characters’ story.

Personality System

At the beginning, players will make several key choices that shape Dun's personality and way of thinking. From dialogue response options to main quest routes, these choices will have a lasting impact throughout the entire game, influencing every aspect of the story. Perhaps by making different choices in the second playthrough, you'll uncover another side of some characters and events.
