Why Early Access?

“Boardlike is a passion project born from a solo developer's journey.

Because it’s packed with so many systems and details, you might run into some tiny, elusive bugs. I’m launching in Early Access to hunt down these issues and use player data to get the game’s balance just right.

I also need a bit more time and your feedback to craft and add new content. Together, we’ll make Boardlike bigger, better, and way more fun!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I don’t expect a long development road ahead. Roughly 3 to 4 months should be enough to polish the details and get the balancing right. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already offers a complete game experience from start to finish. Everything added during this phase is purely about making the journey even richer and more exciting!

I’m planning to spice things up with plenty of new content, including fresh cards, mini-games, new items and maybe even some brand-new dungeons system to explore. My goal is to take what's already there and make it feel even more legendary with your help.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is practically the final game! It already includes every single region, all enemies, every battle card, and all collectable items.

The core experience is complete, though you might encounter some minor balancing issues in combat or those rare, "hard-to-catch" bugs. I'm using this period to polish those rough edges and make sure everything plays perfectly.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase once we leave Early Access and reach the final version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ve already made the game much better thanks to many new friends on the Steam Community page. I want to grow this community into a place where everyone feels free to share their ideas, and where I can expand the game using your feedback as much as possible. Everything gets better with the details that get players excited! So please, don't hesitate to share whatever comes to mind.”

About This Game


Classic tabletop games meet roguelite elements and card-based combat. Dice rolls, fate cards,

You never know what awaits as you roll the dice and move across the board.
Collect powerful cards, gather loot, and face fierce enemies to grow your character.
Survive eight dangerous regions and reach the end of the world.


Breed your heroes. Build your legacy. Face the end of the world again and again.

In this roguelike tabletop adventure, every run begins with the birth of a new hero.
Use your limited breeding rights to select two parents, combine their traits,
and create a new warrior. Your hero’s stats, gender, and genetic traits are shaped by
the legacy of their bloodline.


The path ahead is full of thorns.

Face strange events, battle bizarre enemies, and decide whether to return home with your loot
or risk one more turn for greater rewards.
Each hero ventures through eight dangerous regions,
each with its own atmosphere, enemies, and turn-based, randomly generated board.
Roll the dice to move through traps, treasures, encounters, and deadly foes.


A true hero knows when to retreat.

If your hero returns to the village before dying, they are added to the ancestral pool.
That means your next hero could be their child… or grandchild. And each generation is born a little stronger.


Genetics matter but nothing beats hard work.

Construct buildings like the Barracks, Tavern, Gold Mine, or Ink Mine to unlock background
bonuses for your newborns.
Growing up in these places grants them special starting advantages.


Evolve your legacy across generations, and move one step closer to victory with every run.
