“We are a small team of Indie Devs looking to grow our game over time. Having our game in Early Access can not only help us support and grow Infinite Mansion, but will allow us to build a community, get valuable feedback and give players a voice in the game's development as we go!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“1 year... All of the core features in Infinite Mansion have been implemented prior to our Early Access release, and therefore we are hopefully looking at a shorter Early Access period mainly focused on responding to player feedback and creating the core content for the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The initial Early Access version of Infinite Mansion features a sample size of all content in the game. As content is created it will be added to the game throughout Early Access, giving players robust content drops focused on things like...

ADDITIONALLY, The Early Access version of Infinite Mansion does utilize some AI generated artwork for things like splash and flavor art. This was to both reduce the strain on our small (5 people) team and give an accurate feel for what the final product will look like. It is our intention to first and foremost use Early Access funds to REPLACE ALL AI GENERATED ART with custom Art from REAL HUMAN ARTISTS.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is a feature complete "Alpha" version of the game and should be fully playable (with some amount of bugs possible).

All generative content such as Mansion Floorplans, Room and Investigator Randomization and Mystery seeding is complete and included in the Early Access game.

For content, The initial Early Access build has 3 unique monsters, 3 random Mysteries, and 1 full Mystery storyline.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Infinite Mansion is being introduced at a reduced price for Early Access, and is planned to increase upon its full release. Additionally, there may be incremental increases after large content drops during the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The Community is EVERYTHING to us. We want to listen to all feedback from the community and give them a voice in the development of Infinite Mansion. For those interested in helping to shape the final form of Infinite Mansion, we will not only be listening and responding to the reviews and comments here on Steam, but to anyone active in our Discord community as well.”

The Mansion doesn’t just want your life... it wants your mind.

Infinite Mansion is a Lovecraftian horror roguelike where survival is a puzzle, and the solution is not always what it seems. You aren't just a survivor, you are an investigator. Send randomized specialists into an ever-shifting estate where the layout changes, the dangers evolve, and the truth is hidden behind layers of deception.

Test your investigative skills

This isn't a mindless crawl. Success requires balancing your resources and your sanity.

  • Interrogate Suspects: Interview the denizens of The Mansion in your pursuit of the truth behind its mysteries... but be warned, not everything they say can be trusted.

  • Connect the Clues: Use your wits to connect physical evidence on your deduction board. One wrong leap of logic could lead to a fatal conclusion.

  • Gather Resources and Craft Supplies:  Make sure to leave no tomb unturned as you search the mansion for valuable clues and life saving supplies.  

  • High-Stakes Rituals: Complete intricate Ritual Rune and Investigative Puzzles to push the investigation forward. Your stats determine your safety net... fail the ritual, and the Mansion’s malice grows.

Comic-Style Tactical Combat

When the shadows lunge, the game shifts into a tabletop inspired, stylized narrative encounter. Choose how to react to every monster attack, but be careful, your success is dictated by each investigator's unique build and even the best laid plans can go awry with just a few bad choices.

Use the resources you gather from successful investigations to buy permanent upgrades and crafting blueprints that will better help your chances of surviving within The Mansion... a bit.

Infinite Mansion is the labor of a 5-person team. In this Early Access version, we use AI-assisted placeholder art for our narrative popup panels to help portray our creative vision on an indie budget.

Our Promise: We are 100% committed to human artistry. All funds from Early Access are prioritized toward hiring professional human illustrators to replace every piece of placeholder art with custom, hand-drawn panels. Support us in building a masterpiece that honors the artists who inspire us.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

In the Early Access builds of our game, we are using some AI generated imagery for 3D model textures and Narrative Splash Art.

It is our intention to have all of this artwork replaced by the time of the games official release, however any AI generated artwork in the game has been made with locally generated and publicly available models.

We have made all efforts to comply with the most up to date Creative Commons guidelines on use of AI generated content in media, and as such consider all AI generated works used to be public domain, and as such will keep a publicly available repository of any AI generated assets we use.
