Why Early Access?

“I want to ensure the game is fully polished before release. This includes improving visuals, adding new features, and fixing any remaining bugs. Many new ideas are planned, and community feedback plays a key role in shaping development. For example, suggestions from players have already led to performance improvements such as light baking, as well as new features like the minimap. Your feedback directly helps improve the game and guides its future evolution.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to let it in early access for at least a year or two, the time for me to add the biggest functionnalities needed for this game. After that, the game will continue getting updates at a lower but more constant pace.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version is planned to be bug free, with all the main features implemented, and a cleaner code to ensure smooth gameplay over all devices. It will remain in early access as long as needed for me to implement the features that will shape this game, and to rewrite all the code that could lead to bugs.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable, featuring multiple tracks, cars, performance customization, full controller support, and competitive races against bots. Core systems are implemented, while additional content, visual improvements, and new features are actively being developed and refined based on community feedback. The biggest updates have already implemented car visual modifications as well as performance upgrades, bots ranking from easy to expert, experience system, and chrono saving system. The game experience can be tailored with driving assist, music, or even control assignments.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to augment the price with each new functionnality, depending on the amount of content added to the game. In its current state, the game is getting close to the final gameplay system, with the visuals not being finished. Its price will vary depending on the amount of content added, but should not do much more than doubling (if a lot of new maps and vehicles are added). You can expect the price to augment only with big updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would like the community to be as implied as possible in the development of the game, during all phases:
Testers are required, to push the game to its boundaries and to detect any existing bug;
Any suggestion is welcomed, to make this game even more fun;
Player's point of view is considered major in this game, to make sure it feels nice to play and that we have a good driving experience, as well as intuitive UI and menus.”
