Arkham is not, by any means, considered a dangerous place - at least that’s what the citizens seem to think. The police, though, knows there is much more to the city and the cases they encounter can not always be solved by logic and reason.

Detective Claude Rowland has neither the experience nor enthusiasm – his job with the Arkham police is merely a way to pay the bills. But when his close colleague, James, commits suicide during an investigation into a mysterious series of deaths in the city, it seems like more than just a routine case. Something is wrong; all these deaths are too similar. What truths did James uncover that led him to such an end? After being assigned to the case, Claude vows to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.

Inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and classic adventure novels, Cthulu Mysteries: The Veins of Arkham tells a story where every solved crime is another unpredictable, disturbing puzzle piece. The case, portrayed in a unique, paintery visual style, won’t be an easy one.

Search locations to find previously undiscovered clues. Learn more about the victims and the secrets they were hiding. Solve puzzles, collect evidence, and uncover the truth.

A detective’s trademark is a handy notebook. Gather key information, take notes, compare, and connect conclusions. If your mind isn’t clear, at least your notes will be.

Question witnesses


Meet a lively cast of characters ready to help you, but only if you play your cards right. Learn more about the victims' lives and their everyday behaviour. Everything they say might turn out to be useful.

Explore the city


Forget about modern GPS – if you want to reach a location, you’ll have to find your way. Use key information to discover new places in the city and mark them on your map.

Listen to your inner voice
Understanding certain truths and developing new leads requires a moment of inspiration. When you’re stuck in the investigation, take a moment to reflect. You’ll figure it out.
