About This Game

The Godot rebuild, the new Party Campaign and the version shown in these screenshots are currently available exclusively on the BETA branch. I strongly recommend playing this version rather than the original Ren’Py release on the default branch.

To join : right-click Heroes’ Call in your Steam Library, select Properties → Game Versions & Betas, choose beta and let Steam download the update. Saves from the original Ren’Py version are not compatible with the rebuild.

Every adventure starts with a few people who probably should have gone to bed earlier.

In Guild Campaign, a handful of MMO friends has grown into a guild with ambitions of tackling forty-player raids. Recruit members, organize their roles, keep morale under control and decide who raids and who stays behind to gather supplies. Prepare your equipment, craft improvements and stock up on elixirs before challenging three increasingly demanding raids.

Prefer a smaller group and more personal decisions ? Party Campaign puts you in charge of up to ten adventurers, with five heading into each dungeon. Get to know their traits, help them achieve personal goals and build groups whose abilities can counter the bosses ahead. Share the loot, develop your equipment and decide how far to push before the next encounter becomes a terrible idea.

Both campaigns have separate progress and saves. Battles are calculated from your preparation and shown through simple animated replays, so you can focus on the management.

Heroes’ Call is a small, modest passion project inspired by the pleasures and occasional nonsense of playing MMOs with friends. Recruit a promising stranger, find a better weapon and try to bring everyone home in a reasonably good mood.
