Coming Soon To Early Access

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This project is independently developed and limited by development time and resources.
We are using the Early Access phase to share the core gameplay modules in an earlier stage of development, inviting players to experience the game and offer feedback during this process.
We’re especially interested in gathering suggestions on character growth, event balancing, and difficulty tuning to help shape future updates and improvements.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently anticipate that the Early Access phase may last several months, potentially beginning in late 2025 and continuing depending on how development progresses.
During this period, we’d love to keep improving the game with input from the community — possibly exploring new content, expanding existing systems, and making adjustments where appropriate.
If development goes smoothly, we hope to work toward a full release at some point in the future, but we’re keeping our plans flexible as things evolve.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Looking ahead, we’d love to expand the world and systems over time — potentially exploring multiple themed eras that reflect humanity’s progression from primitive times to the future.

We’re also considering adding more interactive characters, deeper narrative branches, and expanded systems related to character development, inheritance, and resource management — depending on feedback and development progress.

Additional options for character traits, races, and player customization are things we’re excited to experiment with as the game evolves.

We’re also interested in continuing to improve balance and UI elements where possible, especially with feedback from the community.

Please note that all of these are development hopes rather than fixed plans, and the final content may shift based on what’s feasible during development.

For now, the Early Access version includes a simplified difficulty system for testing the core gameplay. We’re open to offering more detailed difficulty settings in the future to better support a wider range of playstyles.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the following content:
The first three modules of the Primitive Era (Stone Age stage)
A customizable character creation system
A framework for card-based gameplay
Partial event system and NPC interaction logic
Players can experience core mechanics such as reincarnation, card drawing, and basic inheritance, although the full era system and advanced NPC content are not yet implemented
A small selection of playable races and character traits”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may consider adjusting the price in the future as development progresses.
Any potential changes would reflect the amount of content added, player feedback, and the overall level of polish.
Early Access supporters will always have access to the version they purchased, while future updates may continue to expand and refine the experience.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re excited about involving the community in shaping the game’s evolution. Feedback and ideas from players may help inspire future directions and improvements as development continues.
We also recognize that certain design elements — such as randomly generated NPC names or culturally specific content — may be perceived differently across regions or player backgrounds. We’re open to learning from feedback over time and may explore refinements where appropriate.

About This Game

From wilderness to civilization.

Every choice you make reshapes your lineage—and, in time, the course of society.

In Legacy of Ancestors, you set out from the wilds, cross from antiquity to the modern day,
and live through nine reincarnations.

Each year’s draw-and-decide cards, each relationship you nurture, rewrites your family’s path.

Craft your identity. Body type, hair, and outfits are all customizable.

Starting Traits and eight core Attributes combine into
a unique opening build that quietly tilts early encounters and social outcomes.

From the first campfire spark to today’s neon, those intimate moments
—brave confessions, brief hesitations, wordless silences—are inscribed in the Book of Fate, quietly bending the year ahead and even the journey after rebirth.

Lovers, children, and heirs are bound by golden bloodlines and bonds.

Choosing an heir isn’t just passing a torch;
it’s a strategic redistribution of your resources, renown, and talents—setting the prologue for your next chapter.

Years → Death → Meng Po’s Soup (draught of forgetfulness) → Rebirth.

With inheritance, you carry your house’s momentum forward;
without it, you return as a “Nameless”—a clean slate at the starting line.

Early Access (EA): targeted before the end of 2025 (rolling completion of the three-stage storyline; all 18 romanceable NPC routes open).

1.0: during EA we’ll iterate on balance, events, and presentation based on community feedback.
