About This Game

Will of the Mountainhopper is a fun and endearing blend of classic adventure, engaging real- time combat and some light survival elements.

You will be exploring the fog shrouded mountain ranges and vast, beautiful plains of the province of Hopsbrook, nowadays mostly wild and thinly populated. In order to progress along the way, you will have to solve many puzzles and mysteries, search for various items and weapons in abandoned settlements and natural landmarks, craft and improvise with whatever feels useful. 

Of course, every great journey often leads oneself to meet many dangerous foes (and maybe some friends too!). But you must push onwards! And be swift! The first flames of conflict are already starting to ignite in the lands and The letter you are carrying is probably the last hope left to extinguish them. And also... to find your mother and father!

STORRY SUMMARY

Im is a young boy who (along with his loyal dog named Roshko) is already taking upon the family`s long tradition of caring for a great sheep herd. 

Every year, when the frost approaches, the shepherd from the mountain village of Skrejen takes on a great journey, leading the animals to the lowlands in order for them to survive the winter. But this time Im`s father finally realizes he is too old for this perilous task. Good thing his boy has courage in the plenty and an unwavering determination to accept responsibility! 

A few chilling months pass and Im is returning home with all the animals safe... only to find out that, while he was gone, the village was seized and burned to the ground by an unknown (to him) military force. Not a living soul can be seen anywhere, and his family and friends are also missing.

But... while searching around the rubble, Im comes across a mysterious individual, who calls himself The Mountainhopper. The enigmatic young man is gravely injured and close to death and desiring redemption in his final moments, explains that he is one of the generals who attacked the village. Turns out his real mission is to secretly transport a very important document, which can decide the outcome of the coming war. Now Im is the new owner of The letter. And he alone possesses the power to stop the disaster and save his captured parents.
