Wozu Early Access?

„In its current form, Theden is an enjoyable experience with hours of content. There are hundreds of items and dozens of locations, NPCs, and enemies to encounter. But a story isn't told with one chapter: as much as you can already do, there's a lot more to experience! The full story of Theden is five chapters long, culminating in the final battle against The Engineer.

As the game is developed, players are instrumental in making suggestions, reporting bugs, and voting on issues that impact everyone's gameplay. The developers are working closely with the community to make Theden fun and offer something for everyone, from streamers to solo players, children to adults, casual players to hardcore gamers.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Theden is planned to be in Early Access for approximately 2 years. Currently, the development team intends to release one small patch every month and a new chapter every six months.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„Chapters 2 through 5 are planned to be comparable in size and scope to Chapter 1. The hope is for each chapter to feature new enemies, equipment, items, pets, and NPCs that tell a bit more of the overall story of Theden. In addition, new features are planned for each chapter, including a Salon to change character name and appearance, Mining, Fishing, Cooking, an Adventure Guide, Libraries to transcribe and type lore entries, and player Dwellings.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„Currently, Chapter 1 (Commencement) is in its final, complete form. Edits will only be made in the event of bugs, gameplay tuning, and community suggestions. Much of the artwork for Chapters 2-5 is already complete, and all of the equipment for Chapter 2 has already been created and implemented, though it is not yet accessible to players.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„At this time, there is no plan to change the price of the game at any point, but players can expect to see a Founders/Deluxe version of the game sold as a DLC after completion of Chapter 5. This optional DLC will give players extra consumables at the start of each game and grant access to a digital player's guide and the Theden OST.“

While this world may lack the normal human problems of hunger, fatigue, and death, it's not without its own set of issues. The world's inhabitants, Zens, constantly fight and bicker, forming clubs and factions as they strive against each other for wealth, power, and influence. The worst of these is The Engineer, a madwoman hidden away in the distant Sky Castle, who stirs up conflict with her army of Constructs, noisy mechanical beings that belch smoke and keep everyone from getting any rest.

Arm yourself against The Engineer's machinations by leveling 8 character classes with distinct abilities as you fight your way through both her Constructs and the natural inhabitants of the world, Abstractimals. Gain new powers through hundreds of weapons, armor, pets, artifacts, and consumable items. Make friends and gather Companions to buff yourself as you head toward Sky Castle and your final showdown with The Engineer.
