Mentored by an ancient Word Spirit as old as time, help LHEA seal the In-Between realms by guiding lost souls to their next lives.

LHEA is a charming single-player roguelite adventure with a unique timeline battle system.

Explore the realms, learn knowledge, optimize your Fate Flute and battle entities to seal the realms and restore balance in the In-Between!

Lost souls are scattered throughout the realms. You must free them all without running out of essence or LHEA will transition to her next life on Earth and must restart her attempt to seal the realms at her next visit.

TIMELINE BATTLE SYSTEM

Each battle between LHEA and entities works the same way: both sides have a Fate Flute with imbued rings on them acting as a battle timeline.

When a battle starts, the timeline moves on its own. Every time a ring is reached, an action is cast.

FATE FLUTE & RINGS

• Each Fate Flute can have 3 presets of up to 3 rings each.

• Each ring can have a knowledge word imbued in it for battle casting.

• Rings can be moved around on the Fate Flute for strategy optimization.

• Each ring has a level from 3 to 10 - the level determines the maximum amount of letters of the knowledge words you can imbue in them. Explore the realms to gain additional knowledge!

KNOWLEDGE

There is a wide array of knowledge to be gained in the In-Between. Most of them are related to a specific realm and can have special outcomes when cast. Consult your knowledge book to see their effects!

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

Every knowledge points you collect in the In-Between can be converted into useful ugprades and new features to help you become stronger when you start a new run.

REALM MAPS

Each realm map is procedurally generated with predefined rules when a new In-Between run begins. Special tiles can greatly affect your run and global progression, so exploration can be rewarding!
