Why Early Access?

“Naica has been reworked from the ground up in order to make the game more engaging, while offering steady character progression and a developing narrative to expand the world we have created.

We want to use Early Access as an opportunity to build a strong community that will help support the game with their suggestions and gameplay feedback. As an MMO lives and dies by it's community we believe that player feedback is the key to success within this genre.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Ideally the game will be out of Early Access by the end of 2025, we have all the game content planned out for the full release and are confident we will deliver steady updates during our Early Access period.

This can of course be extended depending on the amount and intensity of player feedback, because in the end, we want you guys to have as much fun as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to offer a more polished version of the current Early Access experience. We're aiming to release updates regularly, guided by player feedback, and to introduce new content as it's ready.

During Early Access we would like to update the game on a bi-weekly basis which would mostly consist of bug fixes and balancing, while preparing a larger update each month with new content for you to enjoy. If an issue arises that requires our immediate attention we will update the game as fast as possible.

We have a lot of features planned, some are already in the works, while others we would like to wait and receive feedback from the community before implementing them.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A short list regarding the most important features:

1 fully implemented class with 3 distinct playstyles - Warrior, with Ranger and Wizard close behind
4 fully developed zones
More than 50 quests - with emphasis on telling a larger story through multiple zones
Resource gathering skills

We plan to expand upon everything, adding more classes as they are properly balanced, implementing new zones and quests to expand the story as well as features to extend what is already available in the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is Free to Play, and it will stay that way. During the Early Access period we will be implementing an in-game shop which will feature what is usually expected of this type of game, but with a focus on respecting EVERYONES time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The world of Naica is welcoming, so we would like to extend that feeling towards our community. Apart from active communication from our side, you can expect to be involved in multiple aspects of helping us develop the game, such as:

Reading and responding to player feedback on communication channels such as Discord, Steam and others
Voting on features which you would like to be implemented
In-game rewards for helping us during this period
Steering the game to a place where most players will enjoy

About This Game

Save the world of Naica

Naica started in the Age of Golcondite, also known as the Genesis age by most denizens, during this time the crystalline form of this world was born, cold and barren. Naica felt alone, and in her loneliness she began to dance to warm herself up, with this dance she has created Light and gave her the name Naide - The Goddess of Order which helped her warm her cold exterior. As the saying goes, there cannot be Light without Darkness, as soon as the first dance finished Icaon - The God of Chaos was born in tandem, helping balance the extreme heat of the light.

The Rebisphene Age was the consequence of the constant quarrels between Naide and Icaon, both yearning for the attention of their mother, also known as the age of Discord, which created the First Ones - the first proper inhabitants of Naica. They split their loyalties between Naide and Icaon based off their respective promises which only split the world even further. As the ages passed, and quarrels continued, the First Ones became clustered, the most devoted ones still continued to bicker, but the rest became what we now recognize as Naicalites. Their variety came from adapting to their living environments which shifted throughout the ages, hence why even though they share the same ancestors, most Naicalites look nothing alike.

Create and Customize Your Hero

Choose from one of four native Naica races, the dexterous Vulpian, the mighty Cerbali, scaly Ophimanders or the sneaky Azralians. Take the path of the Warrior, Ranger or Mage, each with 3 distinct playstyles that you can specialize in. Some of which include the Crusher Warrior, the Assassin Ranger or a Chilling Mage. Express yourself by mixing and matching various talents to create a build that is perfect for you!

Take up arms against the invading dark forces of the land and equip yourself with enchanted gear from the Age of Verberyl, a time of re-discovery and exploration, which allowed the Naicalites to flourish after the Age of Discord. Harness the magical power within various armor and weapons, and look great while doing it!

Assist Your Fellow Naicalites

You will encounter many people throughout your adventures in Naica, each with their own personality and quests for you to help them with. It is up to you to help heal the world through good-faith actions and helping your fellow Naicalites during your Journey.

They will help you explore the various zones across the world, and guide you on the path to becoming a powerful ally in their fight against the dark forces that have invaded and corrupted Naica.

Overcome the Hardest of Challenges

During your adventures, you will encounter powerful enemies, treacherous locations and even remnants of the old world in the form of Dungeons. Gather up your party of at least two allies and clear these Dungeons for great rewards! The runes you obtain can be used to help you progress further than ever before.

With each Dungeon level you clear, the enemies will become stronger, increasing their tenacity and amount of pain they inflict, but remember, the deeper you go, the better the rewards will be! [shots of dungeon UI selecting the difficulty]
