About This Content

The Rampagers campaign was developed by Baltic Dragon and Whipbird Production. Follow the F/A-18C squadron - VFA-83 The Rampagers - aboard the USS Harry S Truman as their tour is extended by a month to reinforce Operation Inherent Resolve in Syria from the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Throughout the 17 missions of the campaign, Player and his squadron mates will get front row seats to the events of June 2016 in the air war against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The missions and storyline are inspired by true events that included the ramping up of offensive operations to liberate key territory in the northern Aleppo province of Syria, deep strikes against oil, cash deposits and smuggling activities, and not least increasing tension and brinkmanship with Russian forces determined to reinstate the balance of power in the region.

This campaign is a docusim that features realistic departure and recovery procedures, airspace controls and target engagements, however in an accessible format that is supported by briefings, kneeboards and hints. Through briefings and dialogue, the player will as the story progresses become familiar with the operational complexities and key events in air war against ISIS of mid-2016. Missions use HOTAS for key radio commands and no use of space bar to progress events. Missions account for the player’s performance and possible errors, and the player has full control of their wingman or wingmen.
Donations are made from sales revenue to help refugees from the war in Syria.
