Why Early Access?

“Initium is the final project of our curriculum, developed by a team of two developers with little prior experience in game development. While we are proud of what we have created, we recognize that there is still much to improve. Early Access allows us to refine the game, implement new features and process player feedback as we continue development.”

“We anticipate roughly 4–5 years of development before considering a full release. During this time, we will continue to add new features, fix bugs, and optimize the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Initium is currently fully playable from start to finish. Our goal for the full release is to expand the game with new features, immersive sounds, improved gameplay mechanics and additional content.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
