Why Early Access?

“For the development of MeCatVR the feedback from the players is key. We want to iterate it to get to the best possible game, therefore, we need your opinion and feedback! Furthermore, we need some time to polish and finish some of the core mechanics of the game before we consider MeCatVR out of the BETA.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“There are two key features that need further development. The Movement and the Witch (which is not implemented yet). While we continue working on these two main features we plan to polish the experience (sound, visual effects, etc...) and to integrate and iterate your feedback. We believe that we need a few months before it will be ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As previously mentioned, there are two main features (refined movement and NPC) that still need work. The current version of MeCat VR also lacks polish (sfx, vfx...).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It currently has a playable loop and story (5 secondary Altars, the main Ritual and a first Parkour zone) as well as basic sound effects and visual effects.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to release MeCatVR completely for FREE. Do not worry it will not include advertising or micro-transactions. We just want to publish a free experience for everyone to enjoy.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your feedback and opinions matter! We would love to know them and take them into account while we continue to develop MeCatVR.”

About This Game

Be a cat. Climb everything. Breathe.

MeCatVR is a cozy VR adventure with light parkour. You wander a witch’s warm home and a moonlit courtyard, bat things off shelves, open drawers, and scale a giant tree into the clouds. There’s no text, no HUD, no pop-ups, just natural, hand-driven interactions that keep everything intuitive and language-free. No danger, no rush, just a space to play, explore and feel.

What you’ll do

  • Explore and discover the mysteries of the Witch.

  • Find and complete the scattered Altars.

  • Complete Puzzles and unlock powers.

  • Walk, climb and jump, all with Hand-Driven Movements.

  • Break objects, open drawers and move objects with natural interactions.

  • Complete The Ritual and follow the Witch.
