Why Early Access?

“For the development of MeCatVR the feedback from the players is key. We want to iterate it to get to the best possible game, therefore, we need YOUR opinion and feedback! Furthermore, we need some time to polish and finish some of the core mechanics of the game before we consider MeCatVR as finished.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have some key features that we want, and that define, what the complete game will be. Those are mainly the Movement (it must feel awesome!) and the Witch. While we continue working on these two main features we plan to polish the experience (sound, visual effects, etc...) and to integrate and iterate your feedback to make the best possible version of MeCat VR. We believe that we need a few months before it will be ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As previously mentioned, there are two main features (refined movement and NPC) that still need work. The current version of MeCat VR also lacks in polish (sfx, vfx...).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It currently has a playable loop and story (5 secondary Altars, the main Ritual and a first Parkour zone) as well as basic sound effects and visual effects.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to release the full game for the right price. However, if you already have the game, you will be able to enjoy it all the way to release and beyond.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your feedback and opinions matter! We would love to know them and take them into account while we continue to develop MeCatVR.”
