About This Demo

Meet Salem

From the very beginning, you shape Salem's fate. Decide who he will be, meet his family, and his secret lover James. Find your place in a world where being different puts you in danger.

Build your relationships

As Salem, you will encounter a lot of different people during this demo. Who can you trust, who can you love, who might want to get you killed? Tread carefully. But also: Maybe allies can be made in the weirdest sitautions...

Make heartwrenching decisions

As much as you would like to make everyone happy, you will have to choose. Betray your secret lover or put both of your lives at risk? Make your family happy or rather yourself? In a deadly "Sundown" tournament, Salem's loyalties are put to the test.

His internal conflict tears him apart - but trust us, this is just the beginning...

This demo contains the whole beginning segment of Rottenroots. The remaining episodes will follow at once in the full game next year!
