Soul Chained is a co-op souls-lite adventure where coordination is as vital as skill. Confront your brutal, monster-fied sins, co-navigate treacherous platforms, and endure purgatory with you and your partner eternally bound by the Soul Chain.

Remember - one mistake may lead you both to your doom!

You’re both Soul Chain-bound! Use it (and mind its physics) to control battles in creative ways!

Interrupt enemy attacks at the perfect moment; Coil up threats and punish them with chain magic; Clothesline mobs by pulling tight and moving as one; Yank your partner to safety… or doom (usually doom).

Every swing counts. Every dodge matters. Combat is deliberate, weighty, and unforgiving - but fair.

Read patterns, commit to your moves, and fight like a unit. The chain adds an extra layer of risk: mistime a roll, drift too far, or fail to call out an attack… and you both pay the price. ROLL TOGETHER.

The only way out is through. Jump over devious platforming challenges where one bad leap can drag both of you down.

The chain doesn’t just test your timing - it tests your trust. Learn the rhythm, communicate, and embrace the tether… or prepare for the blame when you both hit the bottom.

Brutal trials stand between you and redemption - each one a towering embodiment of your sins.

These boss encounters demand true cooperation: manage distance, control the chain, and strike in unison. One mistake can snap your momentum and send you both back to suffering.

Duo's not chaotic enough? Throw up to four players into purgatory and watch strategy unravel into glorious madness.

Coordination becomes a comedy of errors, clutch saves become legendary, and blame becomes a second language.

Soul Chained makes limited use of AI tools to improve coding and asset development pipelines. The game itself does not run any generative AI. Some AI-generated images have been used in a WIP draft of the opening cutscene/lore explanation and for minor character voiceovers. These are planned to be replaced before the full release, but are currently present in the Demo.
