Battlesail is a turn-based action strategy set in the golden age of piracy.

As the captain of a humble ship, you’ll begin your quest to build a pirate empire in the Caribbean. But beware — the seas are full of danger. Enemy fleets of European powers, rival pirates, and monstrous creatures of the deep will all stand in your way. Plunder ports overflowing with gold and rum, raid Spanish galleons heavy with treasure, fight for your life against overwhelming odds, and explore uncharted waters where no man has ever sailed before.

The game focuses on tactical naval combat. Build and expand your fleet with over dozens historically inspired ships, each fully upgradeable — from hull and armor, to crew and speed, all the way to the cannons themselves. Start with the humble Falconet and work your way up to the deadly Long Nine.

As your experience grows, you’ll unlock new combat abilities for your ships, turning every battle into a grand spectacle of fire and fury. Hire seasoned captains who grant powerful bonuses, discover hidden treasures and lost relics of ancient civilizations, and customize your ships to show off your personal style.

And that’s only the beginning. Once you conquer the Caribbean, the winds of fate will carry you to Asia, the Mediterranean… and beyond.
