Varför Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to release the game as soon as possible and give players the opportunity to immerse themselves in its atmosphere. The game already features core gameplay with procedurally generated levels, online co-op, the ability to switch between first- and third-person perspectives, and the main horror mechanics. Early Access will allow us to gather valuable feedback from the community, fix bugs, balance the difficulty, and add content based on your suggestions. This will help us make the final version as polished and engaging as possible.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months, depending on the amount of feedback and the improvements required. This is an estimated timeframe — we don’t want to rush and will only move to full release when we are confident the game is ready. Active community participation could help speed up the process!”

“The Early Access version already includes a descent with procedurally generated levels, online co-op, a dark atmosphere, perspective switching, and encounters with horrors lurking in the darkness. In the full version, we plan to add:

More areas and biomes with unique enemies and secrets;

An expanded loot system, character customization, and progression;

Improved balance, more monsters, and bosses;

Full optimization, additional sound effects, and visual improvements;

Possibly story elements or alternative modes based on feedback.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“At the time of the Early Access launch, the game is fully playable: you can descend into procedurally generated levels, play solo or in online co-op with friends, switch between first- and third-person views, explore the complex, and face the horrors within. The core mechanics (movement, interaction, atmosphere) are complete and polished. However, this is still a work in progress: bugs may occur, difficulty balance may be incomplete, content variety may be limited, and some planned features may be missing. We are actively working on stability and welcome your feedback to help us improve.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price may increase after the game leaves Early Access.”

“The community is a key part of development! We will actively read discussions on Steam, collect feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. We plan regular updates with fixes and new content based on popular ideas (such as new enemies, mechanics, or areas). We encourage you to join the discussions — the best suggestions may make it into the game with credit to the author. We value your opinion and want to make Descent Into Darkness exactly the game you envision it to be.”
