What is Mister Gato Idle - The Meowsiah?

Mister Gato Idle is an idle and incremental game where you can also play other minigames to boost your resources. Follow Mister Gato, a tuxedo cat who plays a banjo as he is sent on a quest to find "The Mew Sound" and become the next Meowsiah.

Who is Mister Gato?

Mister Gato was inspired by a visitor cat (owner approved!) that kept me company during lonely times. I always wondered where else he went, who else he visited. So I wanted to create a game where I'm not locked into a genre and can place him in increasingly more bizarre situations and settings.

No red dots, no daily login, no P2W, no shop, no ads!

This is NOT a mobile port/game! I often play idle games on mobile and find myself installing android emulators to play them on my PC. Often they are left there idling on the 2nd monitor. Mister Gato Idle's aspect ratio is chosen for this purpose, leave it running whilst you play your main game and come back to it and reap the farm! There is a full screen mode if you want that!

What's in the game? - Features:

• Farm currency, upgrade and conquer waves, how far can you get?

• Adventure across over 30 different biomes each one has a positive and negative effect!

• No red dots, no daily login, no P2W, no shop, no ads!

• Play minigames! Banjo Hero (rhythm) and Grand Theft Meowto (FPS)

• Offline loot based on KPM (kills per min) with no cap!

• Steam Cloud and local saves.

• Enter Super Banjo Mode for a strategic damage/hp boost if you want to be more active!

                      

• Collect Crystals and use them to pull Cards. There are 6 card rarities with the most rare being Unique cards that provide powerful special bonuses. Each card has a chance of rolling 2 or 3x a stat. Purrfect your set and equip up to 10 cards!

                                 

• Farm Crystals and randomly create skills. Equip up to 4 skills of varying rarities.  There are no set skills so it's entirely up to you which ones you equip.

• The game features a DPS meter so you can tell which skills are performing and what your highest source of damage is. These are logged to files so external DPS meters can be created.

                     

The Mew Sound

Your basic skill starts humble but as you defeat enemies collect orbs you can upgrade The Mew Sound and become the next Meowsiah! Apply orbs of differing rarities to upgrade your basic skill. The rarest orbs provide powerful buffs at a trade off. This system can be expanded in the future to apply all sorts of random effects and curve RNG.

Minigame - Banjo Hero

Play minigames where you score is converted into currency for the main game. This game features a fully functional rhythm minigame with a choice of 17 songs and varying difficulty levels. Match the notes with the keys! 

Minigame - Grand Theft Meowto

Clean up the streets in your home city in this fully functional FPS with drivable cars and displaceable objects. There are many tasks in this city such as he cardboard cut-out challenge, street racing and more! Convert your score into currency.
                                

The Future?

The limits of Mister Gato are endless, I can place him in any style of minigame and the core idle game have massive room for expansion. How far it goes really depends on your feedback and input!
