I plan to add more complex levels and entities, different multiplayer game modes such as entities vs players and escape rooms, various puzzles and items.

The current state of the game includes singleplayer and multiplayer is being developed. There are a few items, entities, and levels available.

Stuck in the Backrooms is a co-op psychological horror game that follows the popular creepypasta lore of the Backrooms.

You play as an explorer from a secret group dedicated to investigating the Backrooms.

After an unexpected no-clip during a mission, you're separated from your team and dropped into a different Backrooms reality.

Some of the levels that you encounter are already explored by the backrooms exploration groups and from a guy named Noah, while others don't have a single sign of human presence.

Work alone or with up to 3 teammates. Everyone must reach the exit to escape — no one gets left behind.

Each level introduces new mechanics, escape conditions, and puzzles — including logic-based tasks, hidden clues, and audio-based codes.

Follow the remnants of those who came before — including Noah, an ordinary office worker who left behind notes, hints, and warnings. Eventually, the trail runs cold… and you're completely alone.

From flooded server rooms to haunting office zones that echo real memories, each level shifts in tone, atmosphere, and danger.

Every creature behaves differently. Learn their mechanics fast!

  • Health: Do not risk your life.

  • Stamina: Only sprint if necessary.

  • Sanity: Always keep attention on your sanity as it may kill you without you even knowing it.

  • Notes: They guide you and tell you information about past events.

  • Inventory: Drop, keep or use your items.

  • Almond Water: Restores some health.

  • Syringe: Makes you run faster without getting tired for 15 seconds.

  • Pill: Regenerates some sanity.

Stay close and coordinate. Sound attracts attention, and speaking too loud could cost you everything.

Made in Unreal Engine 5 with minimal UI and immersive visual design to pull you fully into the Backrooms.
