The first act will be available when the game launches into Early Access, offering a fully polished, fleshed out experience with exciting gameplay and a deep story.」

「We plan for the full version to include all acts of the game, with new weapon types, upgrades, enemy types, boss fights, environments, and implemented player feedback. We also plan to include full controller support, Steam achievements, and more!」

「The Early Access version features the fully playable first act, offering 4–6 hours of story-driven survival horror gameplay. Players can explore the abandoned facility they awake in, face deadly trials in the form of puzzles, engage in combat with the infected, and experience the core mechanics and atmosphere of Perished Truth.」

Trapped on a deadly island. Hunted by your past. Only one choice: survive. Perished Truth is an adrenaline-fueled single-player survival horror game, blending classic "Resident Evil" and "Saw" influences with a modern, intense twist.

Story

Shinji Ueda's life was shattered after the death of his wife. Desperate to save his terminally ill daughter from sharing the same fate as her mother, he turned to the dark web, crossing paths with forces far more dangerous than he ever imagined. Now, hunted for sins he thought he left behind, Shinji wakes up trapped on a desolate island with nine other strangers, each hiding dark secrets of their own. To survive, he must endure a series of twisted trials... where failure means death.

Gameplay

Perished Truth fuses classic fixed-camera, tank-control survival horror with modernized controls and aiming. Customize your experience to play your way. Explore a forgotten island, scavenge for weapons and supplies, and face off against the infected, and possibly, your fellow captives. Solve environmental puzzles, unlock new paths, and piece together the truth behind your captors... before time runs out and you become one of the infected.
