“My Fly would benefit from broader user engagement and feedback on the current features to enhance the pilot training experience. This will help shape the end state of this application to be used as a fun tool for learning about aircraft. The goal is to deliver gamified, immersive pilot training that can be accessible to anyone wanting to exercise their aircraft knowledge.”

“This application will remain in Early Access for roughly three months or sooner as a preliminary user data set of feedback is captured.”

“The full version is planned to include completed normal procedure checklists.”

“A stable application with an open world flight mode, introduction procedure, normal checklist procedure, and a time on task procedure. This is meant to cover the high levels of engagement for the application. There is not a save function, once the application is closed the time on task will reset.”

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

Introducing My Fly, a pilot gaming application for desktop. Aircraft Introduction, demonstrated overview of a fixed wing aircraft indicating important specifications and limitations at a basic level of instruction in a third person perspective.
Preflight Inspection, beginning the normal procedures of a walk-a-round inspection in a first person perspective with guided visual highlights, instructional narration and text, and real time interactions of simple and visual selections.
Timed Preflight Inspection, a complex mode of the preflight inspection in a first person perspective with real time interactions that are unguided and timed.

Freeplay Flight:

Aircraft is positioned at the base of the runway before engine start, this mode is preset with key bindings to gamify the maneuvers and flying.
Real-time instrument feedback for attitude indicator, airspeed indicator, altitude, directional gyro, engine RPM, turn coordinator, and vertical speed indicator.
Real-time flight control surface feedback and lighting designated to aircraft specifications and limitations.
Unlimited aircraft repositions and fuel, no penalty for crashing or depletion of fuel.
