The future of humanity is balanced on the edge of a blade. Ravaged by strange, powerful creatures, Earth has been abandoned, and what is left of the decimated human race has fled to a Colony in outer space.

Stellar Blade™ is an action-adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players engage in fast paced melee-style combat with weapons such as blades, machine guns and laser blasters. Attacks result in black splatter effects, and can also impale, dismember, or decapitate the enemies. There are female characters in revealing costumes. There are some references to suicide and torture. There are also references to alcohol and tobacco but no depictions of characters getting drunk or smoking. Low-mid level language is used in the dialogue.
