Trucker 2056 is a narrative trading RPG featuring a point-and-click driven plot and card-based combat. Heavily inspired by late 80s and early 90s classics by Origin and MicroProse.

Set in a dystopian future Finland, you assume the role of a trucker on a desperate journey to find medicine for their dying daughter. What begins as simple errands for a local crime syndicate soon pulls you into a larger conflict between the oppressive Institute and resistance factions fighting to overthrow the authoritarian regime. Ultimately, the game explores profound themes of community, home, environmental collapse, corruption, and fascism.

The core gameplay loop revolves around gathering resources through missions, transporting goods between cities, and engaging enemies in card-based combat. Resources can then be used to purchase and upgrade equipment for your truck. Each piece of equipment unlocks a unique set of combat cards, determined by your character's abilities.
