Miksi Early Access?

We believe that involving the player community soon into development will allow us to create the best game possible. Getting early player feedback and iterating on it at various stages of development will help us provide the best player experience and create the game that our community deserves.

We are planning on being in Early Access for around 2 years.

We plan to improve on Exonautis for years to come, our goal being for the full version of Exonautis to have many more biomes, creatures, building types and crafting recipes, as well as additional vehicles and a fully-fledged narrative.
Additionally, getting your hands on the Early Access version and providing valuable feedback will allow us to deliver a more refined and polished final version with more content.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of Exonautis will provide a solid foundation for an exploration driven survival game set on an alien planet. The Early Access version will include the following features:

- singleplayer survival experience with various craftable recipes and farming
- multiple interactable biomes and creatures
- customizable vehicles
- modular base-building
- beginning of the story

And much more as we continue to publish constant updates!

Yes, the price will be increased for the full 1.0 release but it is not yet determined.

It is very important for us to listen and involve the community as much as possible in the development process. Our Discord server is the best way to share feedback directly with us, however we will also be monitoring and responding to players on the Steam forums and our social channels.
We want Exonautis to become the game you enjoy the most and your feedback will be crucial in us creating this.

Exonautis is an underwater sci-fi survival game set on an oceanic exoplanet. Dropped into a vast alien open world with nothing but your wreckage and S.A.L.T to guide your, you must make your way to Kappa Outpost and begin your exploration of the Calliope 4348A.

Explore an Expansive Alien Ocean

The planet is home to many biodiverse ecological systems brimming with vibrant but equally dangerous fauna. Every biome in Sector Alpha is different, from lush and sunny coral reefs, to deep and dark ravines and caverns, you need to learn about how each zone works in order to survive and dive deeper.

Survive, Explore and Upgrade

After crashlanding on Calliope 4348A, you will need to find water, food, make yourself warm and most importantly, manage your oxygen. Scavenge the ocean floor for resources, craft supplies and tools such as a scanner, sampler and gun. Upgrade your equipment in order to explore deeper, more dangerous areas.

Uncover the Mysteries of Sector Alpha

After having crashlanded in Sector Alpha and barely surviving, you must head to Outpost Kappa. However, things get even stranger when you discover everyone disappeared.

Pilot Advanced Vehicles

As you venture further into the ocean you will need to construct various vehicles to help you travel the ocean expanse and dive to deeper depths. Pilot the Horizon Racer, an agile hoverbike that allows you to traverse both ocean and land at vast speeds, or the Neptune Explorer, a one man submersible that vastly increases your underwater exploration capabilities, and upgrade them to further push the boundaries of your exploration.

Construct Underwater Bases

Surviving on an alien planet is not easy and you will soon need to construct your own base. Luckily, the builder tools allow you to easily do that. Choose different layout modules and components and design your custom habitat, a safe point where you can store and replenish your supplies. Inside your base, you can build various farming modules to grow your own crops and build a self-sustaining system, greatly increasing your survival capacity.

Face the Depths

Slowly you will start to make your way deeper and deeper into the ocean. The shallow, sun drenched starting areas will give way to vast underwater plateaus, and deep descents into the lower plateaus, more than a thousand meters below the surface. As you traverse these vast dark oceanic expanses, you will encounter a seemingly bottomless trench filled with horrors but also the answers that you seek. Will you brave the dark depths and uncover the secrets of the planet?
