Why Early Access?

“Ruins of Blackspire is still far from where I ultimately want it to be. Early Access gives me a way to build the game alongside a community, gathering feedback, testing ideas, and shaping the experience with input from players who share my vision.
My goal is to create a game that’s genuinely fun and Early Access allows me to steadily add new content, improve systems, and evolve based on suggestions from the people actually playing it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I would expect 1-2 years but there is a high chance of it being longer. It depends mostly on if I get everything I want to into the game. And with some of those things I don't know how long it will take me to implement it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My plan is to have a story line and V/O but the focus is on new content meaning: New maps, new spells, new items, new classes and so on”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game consists of 1 small Map with 3 different enemy types. For the player there is 1 Class with 1 item and 10+ spells including the talenttree.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Nope like mentioned above I just want to make a game if I can it will be free to play anyway I would use Early access just for ppl who want to support the game”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I got a discord setup (which does need improving to be fair). I will try and add feedback options in the game itself and maybe some more stuff but that depends on the size and interests of the Community”
