Gonzo Tanemaki lies in a hospital bed in a small island surrounded by his children who have come to say their last goodbyes. He has lived a long, fruitful life. His hard work and dedication to rebuilding the economy of his once-impoverished country led to the local people's respect. Some in the media had criticized his methods and lifestyle, but he wouldn’t have changed a thing. And so, at the ripe old age of 98, the curtain finally closes on his life... or so he thinks.
