The stage is set when Lazriel awakes without any memories to call her own.

Awaiting her is Remi, a quiet young man whose gaze seems to pierce through her. Without anyone else to turn to, Lazriel finds herself under Remi's care.

However, it becomes clear that there is much that Remi is hiding from her.

Lazriel begins to harbor doubts—about Remi, about her own origins

But most importantly, about her nightmares where she becomes Ilsa, an unassuming village girl with a terrible fate lying in store.

Lazriel's worries only worsen once rumors are soon abound that a malevolent witch lurks nearby.

Will Lazriel discover who she is?

Can the cycle of tragedy that binds these actors be severed?

And what shall remain once the curtains fall: love, or a witch's curse?
