Why Early Access?

“Cannoneer is our first commercial release, but it has ambition. Besides the PC release, which has support for both VR and flatscreen gameplay, we have also already released the game for Meta Quest platform in Early Access and plan to release for Android and iOS mobile platforms.

We want to ultimately reach seamless experience in cross-platform multiplay and acknowledge that it still needs some work to feel fun, engaging and rewarding for every player. This still needs work yet we need the player base, community and your precious feedback to reach this!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the full game in the third quarter of 2025, around August.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we aim to refine and enhance various aspects of the game based on community feedback. Our current focus areas include:

• Multiplayer mode refinements and optimizations
  
• Single player experience improvements
  
• Gameplay balance adjustments
  
• Overall performance enhancements and VR comfort optimizations

We're exploring possibilities for additional content such as new achievements, single player campaigns, and alternative multiplayer modes. Community feedback will play a vital role in helping us prioritize development directions and shape the game's evolution during Early Access”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version includes:

• A fully playable single player mode with 5 of completed campaigns consisting of 35 missions
  
• Functional multiplayer supporting up to 4 players per session with core gameplay mechanics
  
• Achievements and collectable outfits
  
• Fully destructible voxel terrain and objects from rocks and trees to houses and forts
  
• Full VR support with aiming and firing of cannons with hands on experience
  
• Flatscreen experience with 1st movement mode and 3rd person shooting mode

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early access customers will have an advantage when it comes to pricing of the final product.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
