The longer you survive the bigger the horde, the more bloodthirsty they will become. They will stop at nothing to defeat you, so make it a worthy battle to the death! 

Your shotgun can be used for more than just killing, as the recoil is strong enough to send you flying. A well placed shot to the ground will open the skies for traversal, a beautiful way to escape danger.

Why would you need anything other than a perfectly powerful shotgun?

The pump action shotgun is the most iconic weapon in the genre. From mob bosses to cult heroes. A weapon whose blast echoes like a moving cannon and tears both flesh and paper to shreds. Sure other weapons have range, speed, form factor etc. But they can't match the feeling of a well placed shotgun blast to a demon's centre mass.
