What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re releasing Perpetuo in Early Access to ensure we can expand and refine the game’s evolving nature. As the game revolves around the concept of looping, we plan to grow these loops beyond the apartment, introducing new areas, mechanics, and an expanded storyline. Early Access allows us to involve the community in shaping this evolving experience, ensuring the game reaches its full potential. Your feedback will play a crucial role in refining the narrative and gameplay as we expand the world of Perpetuo.

Another very important element, is localice the game as many languages as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About between 6 months 1 year since release of the game as early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Here’s what we have planned:

Expanded Loops and Levels: We plan additional loops tied to the collection of seals, introducing new levels and areas to explore. Some of these to be hidden and only accessible in a special game+ mode, adding replayability and deeper challenges.
Enhanced Narrative: More details about the backstories of key characters will be revealed, enriching the overall lore and tying together the mysteries of the game.
Localization: We plan to add support for multiple languages to make the game accessible to a wider audience.
Customizable Controls: Full controller customization is panned to be available, along with other quality-of-life improvements to enhance gameplay comfort.
Polish and Optimization: Visual enhancements, additional audio design, and improved performance.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Can you do the same about the current status of the early access?

The main loop is complete, including 5 main maps (some with sub-levels) and a final map with a cliffhanger ending.

Localization was started with currently English, Spanish and German already available as game texts and subtitles.

Customized Controls has been recently completed too, so there is full gamepad control, and full redefine mouse / keyboard settings.

In addition, future updates will include at least one more map and VR support as part of our planned development roadmap.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, there will be a price difference between Early Access and the full release. The price will remain the same throughout Early Access, but it will increase when we launch version 1.0 to reflect the expanded content and features of the complete game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re committed to involving the community in the development of Perpetuo. Here’s how we plan to do it:

Live Playthroughs: We’ll host livestreams where we play new builds of the game. This will give the community a chance to see upcoming features in action and share their thoughts in real-time.
Feedback Integration: We value your experiences and opinions. Player feedback will help us identify areas for improvement, balance gameplay, and prioritize new features to ensure the game evolves in the best way possible.
Direct Communication: We encourage the community to reach out to us through Discord, Twitter and Email. Whether it’s ideas, bug reports, or general impressions, we want to hear it all!”

About This Game

Imagine being trapped in an apartment where reality keeps shifting, where every loop takes you deeper into a mystery you don’t quite understand. At first, you think you’re searching for your missing sister… but the more you explore, the more you realize—nothing is what it seems.

Perpetuo is a first-person psychological horror game where you relive the same apartment over and over, but each time, the walls remember more than you do. The furniture moves, objects disappear, and something lurks in the dark—something that knows you’re here.

What to Expect:

  • A Shifting Nightmare: The apartment changes with each loop, revealing new horrors and secrets.

  • Immersive Storytelling: Discover a haunting narrative through exploration and subtle environmental clues.

  • Challenging Puzzles: Every solution brings you closer to the truth—or deeper into the nightmare.

  • Unrelenting Tension: A lurking entity grows more unpredictable as you inch toward uncovering the past.

  • A Concise Horror Experience: Perfectly crafted for fans of psychological terror and narrative-driven gameplay.

Face the cycle. Break the loop. Or remain in it forever... in... Perpetuo.
