Why Early Access?

“Day Zero aims to deliver a narrative-driven experience, and the basic structure of the game is built on that. However, we want to deepen the story even further, giving players a rich narrative with new choices, alternate paths and characters.
Through Early Access, we'll use player feedback to better understand which story paths are most compelling and develop the game together by adding new campaign branches, side stories and characters.
The community's input will play a critical role not only in the development of existing content, but also in determining the future direction of the game.”

“8 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will offer much more comprehensive content and technical integrity than the Early Access version.
The narrative will be richer with new story paths, characters, side quests and alternate endings based on player choice. Different and surprising QTE (Quick Time Event) scenes will add dynamism to the gameplay.
On the visual side, character animations, environment designs and effects will be improved in detail. On the audio side, the atmosphere will be enhanced with more voice acting, ambient sounds and music variety.
There will also be improved localization support for more languages. On the technical side, the experience will be fully matured with optimizations, bug fixes and UI updates.
Community feedback will play a key role in determining the direction of these improvements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Day Zero is approximately 80% complete.
There are multiple story paths for players to experience and a variety of endings tied to these paths. Thanks to these choice-based structures, exploring all story branches offers more than 14 hours of gameplay on average.
The early access version is also technically stable and optimized. The game's core mechanics, audio/visual presentation and playability level are complete.
It offers players a satisfying narrative experience and will be further improved in terms of content and quality based on feedback from the community.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, a slight increase in the price of the game is planned for the full release.
This increase will reflect a more comprehensive and richer experience with new stories, characters, gameplay elements and technical improvements that will be developed during Early Access.
Players who participate in Early Access will be able to experience the game at a more affordable price, while also contributing to the development process.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a central role in Day Zero's development.
We are actively using multiple channels to collect and evaluate player feedback, including our Discord server, Steam community center, Steam reviews, and email.
Based on this feedback;
- Changes and new branches in the storyline,
- Offsets in the effects of elections,
- Variety and tempo arrangements in the QTE system,
- Improvement of visual elements,
- Direct updates will be made to
, such as making information about the game's world more accessible to players.
