About This Game

Note: This game is a remake of the 2015 visual novel The Way We All Go by ebi-hime. This remake contains entirely new character sprites and backgrounds, thirty new event CGs, and an entirely new soundtrack. The game has also been remastered in 1080p. There is no new story content, but the old text has been slightly improved,

The year is 1980, and it's been two years since Atsuhi, affectionately nicknamed as Atcchan, left his hometown: a small village deep in the Japanese countryside. Now, after all of this time, he is returning for a scant three days during the summer, which will be spent with his grandparents.

During these two years, Atcchan failed to keep in contact with his two childhood friends: the shy artist Noelle and the cheerful tomboy Amu. Will he be able to reconnect with his old friends, or will his brief stay in the countryside result in tragedy?

That is up for the player to decide, in this heavily branching horror/romance visual novel with over 20 different endings. Whether Atcchan will be able to reconcile with his friends is entirely up to you.

  • Over 200,000 words of text (approx 10-20 hours of reading)
  • Numerous choices to make
  • Over 20 endings
  • A large cast of colourful characters
  • Entirely original character and background art
  • An original soundtrack
  • Two adorable childhood friends you can date (and one you can't)

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This visual novel contains scenes some readers may find disturbing, such as non-graphic scenes of violence and murder. There is also implied animal abuse, though it is not visually pictured. Characters can die in the story depending on your choices, and one ending references suicide, though it is not visually depicted.
