Varför Early Access?

“The current state of the game does not meet our expectation of a "full game". The release of The RIght to Bear Arms on the planned release date is part of the developer's project goals. By releasing in early access we will be able to make the game publicly available while also being able to finish development after the project's deadline. We are committed to improving the game over time and take feedback from our players. We will release The Right to Bear Arms when we feel that the game provides a full game experience.”

“We plan to work on the game throughout the next roughly 12 months.”

“We want to add more content to the game. Specifically, we plan for the full release to have more levels, more enemies and bosses. We are also working on improving the game's performance on less powerful hardware.”

“The current state of the game features a single level without a boss. The game is playable, but it feels too short in our opinion.”

“We are taking feedback through our support email. There is a demo for The Right to Bear Arms through which we will take reviews into consideration. At a later point in time, we will add more beta testers to get more feedback from the community. We are looking for quality of life suggestions to the game and feedback about the player experience.”

The Right to Bear Arms is a quirky souls-like action adventure in a simplistic cartoonish look that tells the story of Jacub and his friends who need to save the forest from the farm animals who threaten to take control of the last free enclave in Abearica.

Experience a story like no other, where Jacub, the protagonist, stumbles into a beer-induced adventure to save the freedom of the forest animals.

Fight for Freedom

As the player you will work with an arsenal of weapons to defeat various enemies. Switch between your weapons on the go to match the situation you're in. Use the hunter's rifle, the lumberjack's axe or just your bear arms.

But don't forget you're not invincible during the slaughter! Use a Dodge Roll to escape dangerous attacks and keep the enemy at a distance.

Explore Abearica

Explore the deep Forests and what secrets might lay beyond them. On your path to Freedom you can collect Cans to grow your power and spread even more fear among the enemy.



Play with your Friends

The Right to Bear Arms offers a online Co-Op mode where you can play with up to 3 of your friends through Steam. In addition to more fire power, you will also be able to revive your friends in combat. Look out for mysterious white mushrooms, as they might show you the fate of other players.
