About This Game

“Mei tales” (《梅花千日谈》) is a narrative card game with a Chinese fantasy setting. In the game, you can choose to play as one of several protagonists, search for companions, make your own decisions, and begin your own legendary adventure.

Since the great war between humans and demons, both races have coexisted peacefully for thousands of years. Humans built cities, lived tranquil lives, and mingled freely with demons. Yet one day, the warlike faction of demons made a comeback and infiltrated Yongzhou City, sending shockwaves far and wide. As plum blossoms fall, the merciless hand of fate stirs the clouds and rain—neither humans nor demons can escape what is to come.

In “Mei tales” the pro-war faction plots a cataclysmic conflict that could destroy the world. With time running out, you must find a way to resolve the looming crisis. Your choices in various scenarios will determine the story’s ultimate outcome, leading to different endings.

Every protagonist offers a unique adventure, each with a distinct background—such as a fallen noble, a determined little demon, a princess unwilling to be bound by fate, or a lonely wanderer. You can shape their destinies or invite them to travel alongside you. In the end, whether you remain human or become a demon depends on your actions and choices.

Huaxia is an expansive, ancient Chinese-inspired world where humans and demons coexist, fully aware of each other’s presence. Every part of this land holds secrets awaiting discovery. When you arrive in a new place, you may choose to observe and listen, or opt for darker methods—such as theft or ambush—to propel your story forward.

During combat, you will experience the advantages and disadvantages brought about by different decisions and combinations. Battle outcomes are largely influenced by your legendary weapons. Judging an enemy’s traits accurately and equipping items that counter them can lead to a variety of combat experiences.
